About Sekhar
Sekhar Angepat is a Founder and Partner at Conqora Capital Partners, where he combines two decades of experience in infrastructure finance with a builder’s mindset to create and grow real asset-backed businesses. He plays a hands-on role in shaping strategy, structuring investments, and scaling operations across Conqora’s portfolio.
Before co-founding Conqora, Sekhar spent over 15 years advising on and financing major infrastructure deals across Canada as Managing Director and Co-Head of Infrastructure Finance at RBC Capital Markets, and previously at CIBC World Markets. Across both institutions, he led transactions totaling over $20 billion in sectors including transportation, energy, and social infrastructure, experience he now brings to the entrepreneurial side of value creation.
At Conqora, Sekhar wears multiple hats. In addition to his work as a founding partner, he serves as Chief Revenue Officer at Hullo Ferries, where he leads the commercial strategy behind one of Canada’s first high-speed, passenger-only ferry services. His focus: building from the ground up with speed, precision, and long-term vision.
He is a member of the Canadian Venture Capital & Private Equity Association (CVCA) and Counselors of Real Estate (CRE) and brings a deep commitment to reimagining infrastructure through entrepreneurial execution and partnership.
Sekhar holds an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Dalhousie University, and a Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering (with Distinction) from Carleton University.
